On Thursday the 29th November some of our members met at Yvonne's house to share morning tea with Esther and hear about her work in Indonesia. After morning tea Esther was presented with the bean bags and aprons we had made.
For the benefit of those new to our ministry and what we do, I'll just update you. Over the past 13 years QFO's have sent close to 3,500 quilts (like the ones we gave to the students from Billanook) across the globe to those in need of the comfort that a fabric 'hug' can give. The quilts are made, both by us from donated fabric and by offsite stitchers who gift us their quilts.
Many thanks Billanook for taking the time and trouble to show us our quilts at their destination.
Also a big thank you to Pauline who donated 2 quilts to us at the Festival of Quilts.
We have received your message and will be in contact shortly.×
